Azerbaijan is a country that
borders the
Caspian Sea. It is south of Russia and east of Armenia. Formerly a Republic of
the USSR, Azerbaijan gained
independence in 1991 with the collapse of the Soviet
Union. Due to a previous war between neighboring Armenia, there are many
displaced families living
in refugee camps in Azerbaijan. Many
children have been consequently placed in orphanages.
CAS of FCC has its own placing program in Azerbaijan. We
selected to work with this Eastern European country because of the healthy
children who are available there. For our Azerbaijan Program, we conduct
your Home Study, assist you
personally with the Dossier (all of the
paperwork needed for Azerbaijan), and help prepare you for and arrange your
travel.
For Illinois families who wish to work with other placing
agencies, CAS of FCC would be happy to complete your
Home Study.
