Thousands of Vietnamese babies are separated each year from
their biological parents and family. These children are abandoned and
institutionalized.
Vietnam Adoption Facts

Boys and girls of all ages are available for adoption,
including healthy infants as young as 3-4 months. |

The entire process of a Vietnamese adoption can take 6-12
months. |
 |
Couples and single women age 55 and under may adopt
children of any age, including infants as young as 3-4 months at the time of
the adoption. |

Toddlers and older children are also available. |

strongly recommends that both adopting parents travel to Vietnam. |

Adoption in Vietnam involves two trips. The first trip can
be as little as 3-4 days. The second trip occurs 45 days later and is
generally 7-10 days long. |

Families travel in small groups whenever possible. |
 |
Families are met and escorted by English speaking
interpreter/guides throughout the adoption process. |
 |
A single individual can adopt a child in Vietnam. We
recommend single parents travel with a family member or friend if possible. |
